Platitas of Manila, here’s where you can get a wide range of dinnerware essentials

From melamine plates to crystal goblets, and more!

The day you start obsessing over kitchenware and home decor is the day you’ve officially become a tita. Or so I’m told by my friends. And I don’t mind that at all because collecting ceramics and dinnerware is fun in itself.

How so? It’s a reflection of your personal tastes, for starters. From the color to the design and how the pieces work together, your collection is a reflection of your personal style. Plus, it’s fun to put together themed dinner setups every now and then (and take awesome photos for the ‘gram while you’re at it). Yes, that’s called tablescaping, and it’s apparently a thing now!

But with a wide range of possibilities, where does an aspiring platita such as myself go for her dinnerware? Why, Platita MNL, of course!

A melting pot of various dinnerware, Platita MNL offers chic and stylish pieces that are personally curated by the owner Zendi Tee. While it doesn’t follow a set theme like most shops who exclusively offer say, Japanese surplus ceramics or Nordic pieces, you’ll be sure to find something you like in this shop’s varied repertoire.

Just take a look at some of the shop’s pieces from its recent collection. From brightly-colored ceramic plates…

And there’s tons more where that came from!

How to Order

Platita MNL operates on a “mine” principle, where you comment on the piece that you want in order to reserve it over on its Instagram page. Once your slot/s are confirmed and your total orders are tabulated, you can settle payment through BPI bank transfer or its other available channels. Your orders will then be delivered from its Quezon City or Makati location via third-party courier (Grab or Lalamove), at your expense.

Take note that Platita MNL does not have a fixed schedule as to when it uploads its next collection, so make sure to check back on Instagram for updates. Happy shopping!
