I recently visited Plantation Bay Cebu with my boyfriend Julian, and while I had expected to enjoy a romantic weekend away from the busy streets of Manila, Plantation Bay went ahead and exceeded all of our expectations. In fact, they set the bar so high for any romantic getaways we might have in the future, ensuring that they are the sole choice we now have in the matter.

The minute we walked into our room at Plantation Bay, I fell in love. The bed was spacious and the pillows were firm – just the way I like them!
The bathtub was terribly inviting, too.
And the view from the balcony? Breathtaking!!!
From that view alone, you can probably tell that Plantation Bay is a pretty huge place. It is so huge, in fact, that we needed a map to get around. Fortunately, there are vehicles to take you around or, if you are in the mood for some exercise, you can rent a bike. They even have tandem bikes for the ultimate couple experience. 😀
Now, once you check in at Plantation Bay, they will ask you if you would like to avail of a ‘Romantic Refresher’. Interesting, huh? It’s not in the video and I don’t have any photos, but you have to trust me when I say that it is definitely worth experiencing – preferably right at the beginning of your stay. Not only will it strengthen your bond and give you kilig feels, but it will also set the romantic mood for the rest of your stay at Plantation Bay. Besides, it’s free of charge, so what have you got to lose?

You can have sweet conversations in this gazebo.

You can get a massage and enjoy the jacuzzi at the spa afterwards.
You can even take part in water activities, like paddle boating and kayaking; play billiards, table tennis, and arcade games in their gaming areas; hit the gym; and visit Savannah Park where they offer wall climbing and various other outdoor activities; and even hit a shooting range.
