I’ve always been crazy about staycations. I’ve tried almost all hotels in Makati and a unique one is in the heart of Salcedo- The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences.
I always see the hotel when I visit Salcedo Sunday Market. I always thought Picasso is a gallery but it was more than that.
With its minimal design and colorful decors, it is sure that Picasso got your attention.
Managed by HII or Hotel Innovators Inc., I know that the service will be great. As soon as I checked-in, I was greeted by the General Manager. Though there are other people checking in, we were all taken care of.
The keycard is an artwork. Literally.
My room has a full-function kitchen, living area, study area, bedroom, huge closet space, bathroom with shower, bathtub and balcony.
I was also surprised with some treats in my room!
The best part of the room is the huge window heading to the balcony.
The bed is king-sized and is placed directly in front of the television which you can both access while in the bedroom and the living area.
The kitchen is full-functioning. It has an electric stove, pots, pans, plates, and utensils. It is not readily available in the room but the staff can bring them to you when you request it.
When you stay in Picasso, they will suggest what you can do around the area. If you are staying for the weekend, it is best if you visit the Salcedo Sunday Market. You can also stay in, it’s hard to go out when your room is this beautiful.
I spent most of my time in the room as I had to catch-up with work. Just look at this work area!
After a long day, I relaxed in the bathtub. The bathroom is HUGE. It’s like a whole room in there.
If you need a massage, you can have it in your room or at the hotel’s spa. You can also workout during your stay as they have a beautiful loft type gym complete with new facilities.
Picasso is a breathe of fresh air amidst the hustle and bustle of the business capital of the Philippines. It is a place to relax and enjoy.
