Looks like we have a new pairing to look forward to: Pia Wurtzbach and Gerald Anderson will be starring as love interests in a new movie!
After the 2015 Miss Universe titleholder’s stint as Kweenie in the MMFF entry Gandarrappido: The Revenger Squad alongside Vice Ganda and Daniel Padilla, it looks like Pia is following up with another role — this time, in a romantic comedy.
The beauty queen is set to star alongside Gerald in a film tentatively called My Perfect You, to be directed by Cathy Garcia Molina.
Gerald and Pia were both tight-lipped on the film’s story, only giving vague details on the upcoming movie.
Gerald said:
“Kakaiba siya. Look test pa lang namin, challenging na.”
Meanwhile, Pia shared:
“Sana marami akong matutunan. Sabi nga ni direk kanina, ‘Aaalisin ko ‘yung pagiging Miss Universe mo.’ Game naman ako!”
Looks like that’s quite an interesting plotline to look forward to!
