In case you haven’t heard, Universal Studios Japan has just launched an all-new attraction that will delight anime fans around the globe: a VR ride based on the hottest franchise right now, “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer!”
From September 2021 to February 2022, the theme park will be welcoming visitors to try the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba XR Ride” which offers an immersive virtual reality experience set in the Mugen Train. The official announcement also states that guests will be able to “experience the breathing techniques with their whole bodies” of the anime’s beloved characters, such as Tanjiro’s Water Breathing technique, as battles unfold right in front of their eyes.

The ride will also feature two different stories; the first will be shown starting on the launch date to November 7, while the second will be shown on November 8 to closing day.
Limited edition themed food will also be available at the park at the Wisteria Restaurant where traditional Japanese set meals, drinks, and desserts will be inspired by the Demon Slayer Corps Hashira members. There will also be “Demon Slayer” merchandise that you can purchase at the park’s stores!

The special ride will only be open until February 13, 2022.
