The highly-anticipated sequel for James Cameron’s “Avatar” is finally here and we’re all counting down the days ’til its premiere in local theaters!
The sequel, titled “Avatar: The Way of Water,” is set more than a decade after the events of the first film which, to date, is the highest-grossing film of all time.
It tells the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure. Directed by Cameron and produced also by him together with Jon Landau, the film stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet.
“Avatar: The Way of Water” will be shown in Philippine cinemas this December.
