15 Fun and Cheap Things To Do with Your Friends

Perhaps when it’s more fun in the Philippines, it really shows among Pinoys.

The Philippines is reportedly the 5th happiest country in the world, based from the results of a global survey ranking released in time for the United Nations’ International Day of Happiness, according to a report by Yahoo! News.

In the 2014 Gallup Positive Experience Index where 143 countries were surveyed, the Philippines reportedly ranked a scoring of 80. The happiest country in the world is Paraguay, with a score of 89, followed by Colombia, Ecuador, and Guatemala, each receiving a score of 84.

Sharing third place are Honduras, Panama, and Venezuela with a score of 82, while Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Nicaragua scored 81.

According to the report, the survey based the rating on questions asked of respondents such as whether they experienced positive feelings of respect, laughter, and enlightenment, if they were well rested, if they laughed or smiled a lot, and if they felt like they learned something interesting, among other factors.

Money can’t buy happiness, indeed. And this goes to show that even in the face of any hardships, we’re always able to crack a joke and smile!
