Philippine Tech Conference 'Techtonic Summit' to Give Startups a Chance to Win 10,000 USD

Ever since the first Techtonic Summit in the Philippines in 2017 was pioneered by a Filipina, Mys Sandico, the tech conference has grown, evolved, and is coming in even bigger than ever this year, bringing in more innovators, more exhibitors, and more tech startup companies in one place.

Techtonic Summit 2019 is launching with the theme Festival of Innovation that celebrates new journeys, new innovative ideas, and new startups from all over Southeast Asia. During this year’s conference, there is an estimated of number of 10,000 attendees, 200+ partners and exhibitors, and over 50 startups to take part in the two-day event.

Alea Lagada, Techtonic Summit’s Managing Director, excitedly explained at the convention’s press launch, that this year’s event will highlight the best ideas the Philippines has to offer. Apart from that, the impressive line-up of this year’s speakers is composed of CEOs, startup and company founders, as well as successful recognised professionals in Asia like: Gina Romero, Dr. Enrico Paringit, Ace Gapuz, Edison Tsai to mention a few.

But the main event of this year’s conference that everyone should definitely look forward to is the Ring of Fire Pitching Contest, where 20 startup Finalists will compete to pitch their ideas and prove themselves as the best startup this year. This contest’s winner will have the chance to attain 10,000 US Dollars, a chance to be featured in CNN’s The Final Pitch Season 6, and a chance to represent Philippines at Startup Impact Summit in Hong Kong on February 14, 2020.
