In a statement made on March 12, 2020, Philippine Airlines announced that they would allow a one-time free rebooking for all those concerned about COVID-19.

Amid the concerns surrounding the virus, many of those who had flights already booked had been clamoring for rebookings in the face of the pandemic. Finally, at around 7 PM, Philippine Airlines had announced that they would allow people to rebook given that the seat amount would be the same as the one already paid for.
“To provide our passengers added flexibility to rebook their flights in this time of COVID-19 concerns, Philippine Airlines is allowing one-time free rebooking for all International and Domestic tickets purchased on or before 31 March 2020,” the statement said.
