PH Postal service temporarily suspended amid coronavirus pandemic

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) announced on Tuesday that mail acceptance and deliveries will be temporarily suspended in accordance with the official declaration of enhanced community quarantine in Luzon due to the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

PHLPost sent the following statement.

PHLPOST ADVISORY COVID 19

(Rough translation: In accordance to the official declaration of Malacanang regarding enhanced community quarantine due to the increasing cases of COVID-19, and for the safety of PHLPost employees, our operations will be temporarily suspended until April 12, 2020. Stay safe, everyone!)

PHLPost assured that it is overseeing the situation, and asked the public to wait for further advisories.
