We have another local film that’s making waves abroad!
Jet Leyco’s Women of Wiesbaden was recognized with the Golden Cucumber at the 31st Exground Film Festival, held from November 16 to 25, 2018 at Weisbaden, Germany.
As part of his prize, Leyco also won 50 euros (roughly 2,972.55).
The Exground Film Festival is an annual gathering in Germany of films from across the world. According to the website, this year’s edition saw “roughly 180 productions – representing a cross-section of the international cinema class of 2017/2018, selected from the more than 2,500 submitted short and feature-length films and the cream of the festival crop.”
