Penbrothers to host the first Red Dot Cinema screening in the Philippines

The Penbrothers International Inc. and Red Dot Cinema bring Asian Short Films, a screening of independent short films from all over Asia, to Manila for the first time.

This April 22, The Philippine audience may now access the second volume of short films from all over Asia, as curated by Red Dot Cinema, at the heart of Makati through Penbrothers. It will be an evening where filmmakers, organizations, and enthusiasts alike can celebrate and discuss Asia’s independent cinema scene. Filmmaker Dave Cecilio will be present to screen one of his own short films and to talk more about his other works in independent cinema. Other partner organizations include Green Media Group and WhenInManila.com as the official media partner.

The event will take place at Penbrothers’s event space, the Playground, located on the 6th floor of the OPL building along Carlos Palanca street in Makati. Viewers can expect a mix of different genres, and find themselves enjoying films from drama to experimental, from countries such as Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. Only limited seats are available; interested participants may purchase tickets through the official Facebook event page.
