After being drafted by the Ginebra San Miguel early this year, this would be the first match in the season where Cone will face against the team he coached for four long years.

The struggling Ginebra San Miguel team, which have been on a championship dry spell since 2008, is hoping to see improvements in their games under Coach Cone. Hopefully winning a championship after seven years.

Star Hotshots key players include shooting guard James Yap and power forward Marc Pingris, who played for the Gilas team.

As for the Ginebra team, Fans could expect great plays from Ginebra’s “twin towers” Greg Slaughter and Japeth Aguilar, which Cone emphasized as vital to Ginebra’s new play style.
