Ivan Johnson’s apology reached the commissioner, and it looks like the commissioner has accepted it.
According to reports, Commissioner Chito Narvasa reduced Johnson’s life-time suspension to just one season ban, and reduced the fines on him from 250,000 to 150,000.
Johnson was instantly banned from the league last Saturday after throwing expletives at the commissioner on his way out of the court for a flagrant foul 1.
Johnson made an apology through social media, but also personally apologized to the commissioner on Tuesday.
While Johnson’s lifetime ban was lifted, we still won’t see him in the TNT roster for the remainder of the Commissioner’s cup.
