This coming May 2017, the country will once again celebrate the National Heritage Month and to participate in this momentous occasion, the UP Manila Museum of a History of Ideas in partnership with Creche UP Manila will be having “Panulondon: Mga Kuwentong pang Tsikiting, Noon at Ngayon” a free and interactive storytelling and arts and crafts session that will showcase different traditional and urban tales.

This event aims to introduce literary works that are proudly Filipino to the kids of today’s generation. The museum believes that it would help in improving their appreciation and understanding of the traditional Filipino culture and values through an interactive storytelling. The arts and crafts activities after will be a form of evaluation on how they understood and appreciated the stories they’ve just listened to. Also, it will be a way for them to showcase their creativity.

This will be on the 5th of May 2017, Friday, at the UP Manila Museum Building located inside the PGH Compound, Padre Faura, Ermita, Manila. It is beside Robinsons Place Manila and directly across the Department of Justice office.
