The term Paliwanag was coined by two childhood friends: Nicky Daez, a film director, and Snap Lopa, an entrepreneur, in lieu of the transformative experiences that took place between people when focused conversations were held in deep trust and understanding. Having caught on the idea, and seeing the limitless potential that their generation held, three young vibrant souls: Ryan Camarillo, Addie Santos and Sophie Caraan, felt the need to bring this together in one space with the intent on the query:
“What would happen if we spoke and listened from the heart?”
Paliwanag Convergence & Music Festival is the first dialogue centered festival that holds the space for the emergent generation of our country and the world to gather, share, and experience insight and healing as a whole. Coming from the idea that each and every one of us holds a part of the solution to the challenges and problems we experience in our lives today, we come together in this space free of judgment and bias, open to the possibility of collaboration and cooperation. Through this dialogic process, profound insights can be achieved to bring about holistic and progressive change within the system we live in, and have fun and experience authentic healing as it has always been, through listening and speaking with the heart.

Dialogue Circles, Yoga Classes, Inner Dance, Free Dance, Free Jam, Sound Healing, Resonant Talks, Creativity and Integrative Workshops, Earthing, and Meditation through the day.
By night we gather to listen to the sound and soul of The Chimichangas, Martti Franca, Sary Valenzuela, Migie Croon, and the genius of the Logiclub Producers; Aries, Six the Northstar, Ryoku, Ninno, and Dante.
