P2P Bus Service to Add New Routes Soon

P2P Bus

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) released a statement that reveals Froelich Tours, Inc.’s qualification to operate on two additional routes. These premium point-to-point (P2P) routes are from North EDSA to Makati City and from North EDSA to Ortigas.

It began with the Board’s invitation to interested bus companies to submit qualification documents to provide P2P in the two routes. After thorough evaluation by the Board’s Pre-Qualification Committee with the assistance of the Technical Working Group (TWG), Froelich Tours, Inc. was recommended to operate an interim service on the routes it applied for. Eventually, the Board approved this recommendation.

According to LTFRB Chairman Atty. Winston Ginez, “We are seeing encouraging results of P2P, hence the qualification of Froelich Tours will help us provide the riding public additional and better transportation service.”

With this development, the Board is encouraging private car owners to use the premium bus service to help reduce the number of cars on the road.
