Former actor Oyo Sotto revealed to friends and followers on Instagram on Tuesday, July 26, that he had recently got into a bike accident and is currently recovering from surgery related to it.
In his post, Oyo shared pictures of himself with his bike, at the hospital with wife Kristine Hermosa by his side, and in bed at home showing off his bandaged shoulder. He then thanked his wife for the support and all his doctors for his successful arthroscopic acromioclavicular joint reconstruction.
“God is good! Surgery (Arthroscopic AC joint reconstruction) done! Had a bike accident last week that led to this. Lord Jesus, maraming salamat (thank you very much), You’re the best, I love you! ? To my wife, I love you very much! Thank you for taking care of me. Iba ka talaga (You are one of a kind.) To my doctors, maraming salamat sa inyo (thank you all very much). Keep safe everyone and God bless you all. Let’s not forget to thank the Lord in good and especially in bad times,” he wrote.

Oyo has publicly shared his love for biking and frequently documents his bipedal adventures on his Instagram stories. He and Kristine recently welcomed their fifth child, Vittorio Isaac, who was born in August 2021.
