A lucky member of the BTS ARMY may just experience their dream come to life as the outfits worn by the seven-piece Kpop band are set to be auctioned off next month!
The outfits to be auctioned off at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, California are the very same ensembles donned by BTS during the 63rd Grammy Awards Ceremony, which were notably from Louis Vuitton’s Fall-Winter 2021-2022 men’s collection.
The auction house estimates that the custom-made suits will fetch anywhere between USD 30,000 to USD 50,000 (approximately PHP 1.5 million to PHP 2.5 million), but may end up being bid on for much more. After all, the last outfits of BTS that were put up for auction last January 2021 which were what they wore in their music video for their explosive single “Dynamite” was estimated to fetch around USD 40,000 (or PHP 2 million) ended up getting sold for a whopping USD 162,500 (or PHP 8.14 million).
The auction for these Louis Vuitton suits, as well as other ensembles worn by musicians at the Grammy Awards night, guitars of famous rock stars, and more, will be held on January 30, 2022. Proceeds will go to the MusiCares charity organization.
