Netizen Montano Takamaya posted this photo of a footbridge he claims is in Libis, Quezon City. He is frustrated about the methods that the government is doing for the public.
This bridge seems like it is not well thought of when they built it and it seems very unsafe for the people who will use it to cross.

Hindi lang sa Libis merong ganyan, meron din sa Road 10, Tondo kung saan maraming batang nadidisgrasya dahil sa mga wiring na nasa footbridge..
It is typical of the mentality of those tasked with improving roads and infrastructure. There were the brilliant pictures of a road that had been widened from 2 lanes to 4 and all the street furniture, lamposts, electrical, telephone posts had been left in their original position. They were now in the middle of the lanes. My local town has done the same when widening roads, there are posts etc. now in the road. Doing this obviously takes a special kind of training and degree and a very special type of person.
Government officials don’t have the capacity to THINK. Simple as that.
