“I can’t do this Twitter sh*t no more.. too many trolls,” the Juice singer tweeted just a few hours ago. She followed it up with: “I’ll be back when I feel like it.”
If you live on the internet and go through Lizzo’s twitter and the replies to her tweets, there are is a lot of hate. From people shaming her for her weight to people flat-out questioning her talent, it’s a little disheartening. So we can definitely see why she’s taking the break. We’re gonna miss her so much, though. :'(
And while it can be said that many celebrities get a lot of hate, there seems to be an inordinate amount of it for her. It’s saddening and we all just hope she’ll feel better soon! A friendly reminder not to hate on, bully, or talk smack about people whose lives you don’t know anything about!
