Fourth-year advertising students, UniDOS, from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, are set to highlight another banger event entitled “Oh Shoot! Changing Your Shots with the Current Production Landscape”—featuring Ms. Gianne Bernabe, Head of Business at This Side Up Manila; Mr. Mihk Vergara, Creative Director at This Side Up Manila; and Mr. Ken Leviste, Managing Director of Arkos Multimedia Production, as the esteemed speakers. The event will be held on February 6, 2025, at PUP Bulwagang Balagtas.
As part of the annual AdCongress held by PUP, UniDOS joins this five-day forum with an event designed to empower the next generation of industry leaders.
This seminar aims to provide insights into the evolving preferences of target audiences in the modern advertising landscape from a production perspective. UniDOS also seeks to explore emerging advertising techniques and develop messages that emphasize authenticity, showcase real consumer experiences, and use natural, unfiltered settings that align with current audience preferences. Furthermore, the seminar will delve into the growing demand for low-value production and how to determine the kind of production that best fits and represents a brand’s advertising goals. Lastly, the team aims to stay updated on advertising production industry trends to ensure brands continue resonating with their audiences and achieving efficient results.
Oh Shoot! Changing Your Shots with the Current Production Landscape will begin by examining traditional ad production, highlighting high-budget setups, A-list celebrities, and polished brand storytelling. It will then shift to the current ad production landscape, where simple setups, micro and macro-influencers, and more authentic, unfiltered brand stories are in demand. The discussion will further explore modern audience preferences, analyzing why low-scale ads are effective today and how they remain relevant.
The AdCongress will run from February 3–7, 2025, at Bulwagang Balagtas, 4/F NALLRC Building, PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila. Oh Shoot! Changing Your Shots with the Current Production Landscape will take place on February 6, 2025, at the same venue.
