NU107FM’s Concert was Arguably the Rock Spectacle of the Year

For the final act, we watched the elusive front man of Pupil, Eraserheads, and Apartel, rock icon, Ely Buendia. Backed by his The Oktaves bandmate, Nitoy Adriano on guitars, as well as his Apartel cohorts, Pat Sarabia on drums, Coco Coo on guitars and Mr. Bones and the Boneyard Circus’ Carissa Ramos on bass rounding it off with a trio of back up singers and a brass section. They opened with the Ely Buendia / Francis Magalona collaborative song “Higante”.

They also performed a selection of Eheads hits, such as “Alapaap”, “Spoliarium”, “Maling Akala”, “Shake Yer Head”, “SuperProxy”, “Pare Ko”, “Magasin” and for the finale “Ang Huling El Bimbo” . Did you know that the latter was also the last song NU107FM played when they signed off the air?
