According to Malacañang, November 2, All Soul’s Day is not a holiday. This means classes and work will not be suspended on the said day.
Falling on a Monday this year, All Soul’s Day is a Catholic day of celebration for remembering departed loved ones.
This is based on Proclamation No. 831 issued on 17 July 2014, declaring the regular holidays, special non-working days and special holidays for 2015.
From October 31 to November 1, Catholics visit cemeteries to commemorate departed loved ones.
