Ika’y katawa-tawa at di pakikinggan,
Tila ikaw ay laging seryoso at may sariling mundo.
Ako ay pilosopo,
At di ako hiwalay sa mundo.
Ang mundo ay ang aking palaruan,
Inuusisa ang bawat katanungan sa ilalim ng araw,
Hinahanap ang kasagutan sa bawat “Bakit?, Paano? At ano ang dahilan?”
Pilosopo ako,
At may ligaya sa likod ng aking bawat katanungan,
May kaluguran sa pagdunong ng kung ano ang totoo, di nagbabago, at tunay.
Bukas kaya,
Dadami pa kaya ang pilosopong aking masusumpungan?
UP Kabataang Pilosopo Tasyo, a duly recognized socio-academic organization in University of the Philippines Diliman, celebrates its 28th Anniversary with the theme “Nostalgia: Ang Kahapon, Bukas at Ngayon ng Pilosopiya”
Early this semester, we released a comic series entitled “Nostalgia”. Every release is set on a specific era – Ancient, Medieval, Modern, and Contemporary – which signifies the different periods in the development of Philosophy. Moreover, we will be having our anniversary symposium entitled “Sa Hirap at Ginhawa: A Symposium on the Problem of Evil” on September 12, 2018 from 5:30-7:00 PM at Palma Hall 400, UP Diliman, and our 7th philosophical convention entitled “Ethos: The Significance of Philosophy in Good Governance” on September 19, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Palma Hall 400, Diliman.
