No SPEED Limit: Ateneo Special Education Society’s Heart-Pumping Benefit Run

No SPEED Limit (NSL) is an annual benefit run organized by the Ateneo Special Education Society. After originally being established as a pledge run seven years ago, NSL has since transformed into a full-fledged race.

The beneficiary of No Speed Limit 2014 is the Kaisahan ng Magulang at Anak Na May Kapansansan (KAISAKA) Inc., a community-based rehabilitation program (CBR) for persons with disabilities and their respective families. The program provides programs and service to people with all types of disabilities and currently has around 120 members comprised of parents of persons with special needs.

This year’s run is designed to feature a route that begins inside the Ateneo campus, reaches its peak in the city of Antipolo, and highlights the use of Marcos Highway.  Runners can avail the 3K, 5K, 10K and 21K distances to suit their preferences.

Registration sites are now available for runners to sign up. These include our school campus, Ateneo de Manila University, R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street and other more. Runners can also register online at https://ateneospeed.com/NSL2014/. No Speed Limit has its own Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/AteneoSPEED.NSL, where more registration sites will be announced soon as well.

With hopes of once again living up to its title of being Ateneo’s premier running event, NSL 2014 will once again aim to provide an ideal avenue for people to stay fit and help out for a good cause at the same time.
