Stages Sessions touched down at Route 196, Katipunan Ave. in the third destination of The Gig Circuit. We beat the summer heat with the hottest of performances by the bands that performed at the March 25 gig.

A new set of musicians rocked the crowd with their own musical varieties. Everyone showed their love for bands The Sun Manager, Over October, She’s Only Sixteen, Keiko Necesario, Yolanda Moon, The Ransom Collective and Curtismith.

The indie scene was alive and kicking. Everyone was having fun, dancing to the beat, gulping their ice cold beer, and sweating like crazy while enjoying the performances.

Over October

As a fan of indie music, I am always grateful that there are different outlets available for rising artists and musicians. They all have different stories to tell – from their humble beginnings to where they are today.

The distinct vocals and melody led me to be a Keiko Necesario fan, while Curtismith’s rap caught me offguard. His music promises great potential worldwide and he might just be the next big name in the genre next to Francis M., Gloc 9 and Abra.

The Ransom Collective’s festive indie folk music got everyone singing their songs “Fools” and “Open Road” like an anthem.
