Ah, a sushi bake. Some love it, some hate it, but we can all agree that a good part of us are obsessed with it. And who could blame us? This sushi casserole is fast becoming a food trend this 2020, and for good reason, too.
ICYMI, a sushi bake is a tray with layers of rice, seafood, and a cream sauce that’s made up of cream cheese or mayonnaise. Some torch theirs, while some top their sushi bake with mangoes. In fact, I’ve even seen a few Filipino-style and Korean-style bakes, and they all look. So. Good.
With the many possibilities surrounding this versatile casserole, it’s no wonder that many stores have begun to sell their own versions of sushi bake. And next to join the sushi bake craze? FamilyMart.
Dubbed as the Premium Kani Sushi Bake, this creation is FamilyMart’s second partnership with Baked by Machew, a small-medium enterprise (SME). By the looks of it, you get rice and a creamy mix of Kani, Japanese mayonnaise, fish roe, nori powder, and black sesame seeds in this version of a sushi bake. Yum!
How to Order
The Premium Kani Sushi Bake of FamilyMart goes for PHP 449 a tray and comes with 2 packs of Nori. To enjoy, just defrost, then pop it in the microwave for 4 to 5 minutes. And just like that, you’re done!
Get your sushi bake by going on over on their website. According to their site, orders will be processed from 8 AM to 4 PM. Anything after the cut-off will be scheduled for delivery the next day. Once your order is completed, a Customer Operations Specialist will contact you for more details.
