New emojis are coming later this year and the list of finalists has just been shared online!
Among the emojis up for approval by the Unicode Consortium Emoji Subcommittee are seven new smileys which include a melting face, a face saluting, one peeking through its fingers while covering the other eye, and one that’s smiling while tearing up, a pair of hands shaking (the skin tone of either hand can be changed), a hand forming a Korean heart, a mouth biting its lower lip, three beans, a tire, a disco ball, more pregnant figures, and so many more.

Take note, however, that this is just a draft list and that the final one will be announced this coming September. Winning new emojis will then be rolled out on different devices and platforms by the end of the year or the start of 2022.
