Brian Llamanzares, son of Senator Grace Poe, has recently called attention upon himself on social media after posting the following photo on his Instagram account, wherein he flaunts a pair of Nike Mag 10 shoes. The photo has since been deleted.
In case you aren’t a sneakerhead, the limited edition shoes that Brian are wearing are Nike Mag 10s inspired by the shoes that Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future Part II. Only a handful of them were sold – and at a crazy high price, as well. On eBay, for example, they cost a whopping $19,000, causing netizens to throw hate towards Brian.
Most of the netizens are angry because it looks like Brian had spent so much money on a pair of shoes, while others are a bit less hot-headed as they merely assume that the shoes are only cheap knock-offs. What are your thoughts on this?
