Everyone is so busy that sometimes, we forget about the people around us, especially those who have less. But there are still those who choose to help others, like this woman here.
Brent Ignacio shared some photos of a woman he encountered while shooting in Intramuros. According to him:
It was raining hard on a Sunday afternoon in Intramuros, Manila. My friend and I decided to shoot but the rain was so heavy we needed to find shade ASAP. We took shade ay the entrance of Bayleaf Hotel. Then I saw these two kids begging for alms from this good lady. Without hesitation, she invited the two inside Cioccolate Cafe. A guard tried to intervene but she said “It’s okay, I got them.” The guards went on to their business and the kids got their food. So nice to see that someone still has compassion for the poor.
It’s nice to know that there are still people like her who, as they say, restore our faith in humanity.
