Faye from Baguio City posted on Facebook her thoughts on the new Christmas tree in her hometown. Apparently she said that this Christmas Tree is worth Php 1.2 million pesos from taxpayers pockets.
She also shares her frustration that this Christmas tree (which does not look worth Php 1.2M) was prioritized rather than infrastructure and other establishments in Baguio city that are left unfixed and is a danger to the public.
She quotes a report from Philstar.com which says that “The city government is not satisfied with the Christmas tree it ordered put up along Session Road and has directed the contractor to rectify the deficiencies.”
Hmm.. Interesting.
