Sarah Geronimo is still achieving milestones with her hit song “Tala” nearly four years later.
As announced on the Instagram page of Viva Artists Agency, the music video of this single achieved the amazing feat of hitting 160 million views on YouTube, still making it the most viewed OPM music video on the website.
“Yass QUEEN. Asia’s Pop Star Royalty’s TALA Music Video hits 160 MILLION VIEWS! Congratulations SARAH GERONIMO and Popsters,” Viva Artists Agency wrote on its post.
“Tala,” first released in 2016, has since grown to become a song that possibly every Filipino knew the lyrics and dance steps to, especially when it suddenly became a huge dance craze in 2019. Filipinos, even celebrities, made their own versions, posting it on social media sites everywhere. The song even landed on the Billboard Top 12 and Spotify’s Global Viral 50!
