NCR+ Will Be Under MECQ Until April 30

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque announced today, Sunday, that Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna (collectively known now as NCR Plus) will be placed under modified enhanced community quarantine starting tomorrow, April 12, until April 30, 2021.

Mass gatherings and non-essential travels are still not allowed during MECQ. For the complete guidelines of the modified enhanced community quarantine, you may check here.

Across the country, many LGUs have also announced the reinstating of MECQ due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.

On Saturday, April 10, the Department of Health announced 12,674 new COVID-19 cases in the country, bringing the total active cases to 190,245.
