Word on the street (or more accurately, on Instagram) is that retired NBA star and famed sharpshooter Ray Allen is in Manila! And what other way to give him a true Pinoy welcome but to introduce him to the hellish Manila traffic?
The former Miami Heat player made a surprise visit to Metro Manila, after he was the main guest at the Sneaker Con event at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong. Ray then shared a photo of his firsthand experience with the city’s traffic, as he went on a 7-mile jog around Makati.
Just two days ago, Ray Allen posted a snapshot of his boarding pass to Manila, saying it was his “first time in the thrilla”.
Of course, Metro Manila has way more to offer than our congested streets, and once you get past that, tourists can be introduced to an exciting and memorable local culture.
