Judy Ann Sarabia, 25, tested negative for COVID-19 after 2 weeks of treatment. She was showing symptoms when she went into the hospital to give birth to her twins at Navotas City Hospital last April 4. Her test results came back positive for COVID-19 on April 8.

Thankfully, her newborn twins tested negative for the virus despite Judy Ann possibly being infected while carrying them. The United States’ Center for Disease Control and Prevention has previously said that mother-to-child transmission of coronavirus is unlikely.

Judy Ann is the 6th person from the city to recover from COVID-19. Navotas City has 34 confirmed cases and 9 deaths as of April 27. 9 of the COVID-19 patients are currently admitted at different hospitals while 5 are under home quarantine.
