As the year crawls by, we wait with bated breath for any news about some of our favorite groups of superheroes. One of them, of course, being the Avengers. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the biggest franchises that have people buying cinema tickets left and right, eager to know what the next chapter is for this group of heroes. With almost all of them having their own standalone films or series and coming together in big crossover films, the MCU characters are beloved by many.
Which is why when we get new info about the coming movies, we kind of freak out. New information has been provided about Thor: Love and Thunder by the woman who will take on the hammer, Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman).
“It’s based on the graphic novel of the Mighty Thor. She’s going through cancer treatment and is a superhero on the side,” she revealed in an interview, confirming that Jane would be undergoing cancer treatment like one of the comic book plots follows.
“I can’t tell you that much. I’m really excited. I’m starting to train, to get muscles,” Portman told Yahoo! “If there can be all these female superheroes, the more of them they are, the better it is.”
