The first phase of the NAIA Expressway is expected to finally open next month, with full operations being targeted by the end of the year, according to local reports!
Road signs are now being installed in the first segment of the expressway, which will undergo inspection under DPWH, and will finally be open to the public by the third week of September.
The second phase is targeted to open around Christmastime, according to the reports — timely for that period, where heavy traffic is anticipated.
The first phase of the NAIA Expressway runs from Macapagal Boulevard to NAIA Terminals 1 and 2, while the second segment connects the Expressway to Terminal 3, as well as Skyway.
Reports say that the toll fee for the Expressway’s first phase will likely be set at P35-45. According to DPWH, around 80,000 people will benefit from the NAIA Expressway daily.
