We are definitely getting a lot of surprise tandems for films lately, and this confirmed team-up coming from two totally different generations is no exception.
Nadine Lustre and Aga Muhlach have been revealed to be working together for an upcoming project under Viva Entertainment, as announced through its artist agency on Instagram.
It’s unclear, however, if it will be a movie project starring both of them, or something else entirely.
Ever since the start of the year, Nadine has been making movies outside of her loveteam with real-life boyfriend James Reid—her latest ones being Ulan with Carlo Aquino and yet-to-be-released Indak with Sam Concepcion. But, this will be her first time to be paired up with someone much older than her.
Aga, on the other hand, has had experience working with younger actresses in his past films. He has been cast opposite Bea Alonzo for First Love (2018), Angel Locsin for In the Name of Love (2011), and Anne Curtis for Love Begins with One Hello (2008) to name a few.
Although Nadine’s fans were happy for her new project, there were a few who were hoping that a JaDine film could come first.
It was confirmed back in June that James and Nadine will star in a remake of Korean horror romcom Spellbound. There was no word when it’s expected to be released.
