Burgos Circle in BGC is home to a lot of mouth-watering dishes from restaurants hailing from all places of the world. The rich diversity of the cuisine in the area has turned Burgos Circle into a popular destination for those seeking quality food.
With the ever growing diversity of cuisines, also comes the rise of different establishments. However, there is one that is unmoving, yet ever evolving bistro which has been serving its loyal customers for eight years now with their favorite steak and unlimited fries combination…L’entrecote.

Outside L’entrecote
L’entrecote is a Swiss-French inspired restaurant ultimately known for their steak, brushed generously with their secret herb butter sauce. However, staying in the Philippines has taught them the value of diversity and so slowly, they expanded their dishes from the steak to more daring combinations like the Lamb Merguez Sausage and Original Swiss Cheese Fondue.
L’entrecote’s 2nd Floor
The vibe of L’entrecote’s 1st floor compared to the 2nd floor is night and dayโthe upper room feels far more exclusive, intimate, and luxurious. There, they offer a separate menu, hand-picked and chosen only to serve their very best.
Here are some of their signature dishes:
Big “Adlez” Nicoise Salad, Php545
What better way to start a meal than with a healthy variety of greens and huge chunks of salmon? Big “Adlez” Nicoise Salad with Grilled Salmon is an entree disguised as an appetizer with its delicious dressing and large pieces of perfectly seasoned and cooked salmon.
The salad’s texture is extraordinaryโtaking a forkful of everything, you get the crunch from the greens, pop from the olives, a soft hug from the salmon, all coming together with the dijon mustard dressing drizzled with lemon and olive oil.
Tasty Hot Octopus, Php360
Another appetizer that will surely whet your appetite is the “Tasty Hot Octopus with Garlic” served with a side of freshly baked bread.ย There is a right amount of spring when chewing into the octopus, and its savory flavor is outstanding. And dipping their freshly baked bread into the oil of goodness of the octopus enhances its flavors even more. Biting into it is a journeyโbreaking through the crispy outer layer then finally reaching the flavor-soaked fluffy bread.
Salmon Fumรฉ, Php395
For a filling bite-sized dish, the Salmon Fumรฉ is a must! The flaky Danish pastry balances the flavors and texture of the dish. It perfectly complements the smokiness of the salmon as well as the creaminess of the classic cream cheese in the middle.
Grilled Pork Rib Eye Steak 10oz, Php755
For succulent steak, L’entrecote serves a delicious rib eye steak…but it isn’t what you think it is. Unlike most, L’entrecote uses pork rib eye called Grilled Pork Rib Eye Steak 10oz, seasoned with lemon pepper and generously served with Boulangรจre potatoes and Calvados apples. The pork was tender, well-seasoned, and outright delicious.
What truly sets L’entrecote’s rib eye steak apart, though, are the potatoes and the apples. A bite of the meaty rib eye is not truly complete without a slice of that potato or apple. The potato, absorbing all the flavors of the pork, transcends the dish to a whole new level. The Calvados apples, on the other hand, give the dish a kick of sweetness and fruity flavor.
L’enrecote “Double” 12oz, Php2,580
But if pork isn’t for you, they also have the L’entrecote “Double” which is a certified US Angus 12oz sirloin steak with their secret herb butter sauce. This comes served with a salad tossed in their house dressing and unlimited French fries.
In a word, this steak can only be defined as divine. The char gave it a friendly bitterness, and its doneness was just right. However, the herb butter sauce that envelopes the entire piece is what put it all together. It created an experience, leaving me to feel delightfully sinful after every bite.
Lamb Merguez Sausage, Php635
Finally, my personal favoriteโLamb Merguez Sausage, a trifecta that is unparalleled in harmony. The dish comes with two large pieces of lamb sausage, rich blue cheese risotto, and sweet tomato chutney.
Sure, lamb and risotto are uncommon, but what makes L’entrecote’s so special? Well, it’s the mind-blowing fusion of by the three. The spicy lamb sausage, combined with the creamy blue cheese risotto as well as the sweet tomato chutney is simply amazing.
L’entrecote has been in business for eight years and for the last few years, they have taken serving customers to a different level. Whether it be Christmas, New Year, or any other holiday, they are open to give you their French-Swiss cuisine and experience.
