Based on Edmon Rostand’s Cyrano de BergeracMula Sa Buwan is set in 1940s Manila where a fresh bunch of ROTC cadets and sarswela enthusiasts show what it means to brandish love, honor, and courage as a weapon in a time of war. The heart of the story lies in the tale of three people: Cyrano, a soldier and poet, Christian, a new cadet from the province, and Roxane, a rich young maiden from the city.

Pangilinan’s announcement was not the only news that was met with applause on the show’s closing night.

Myke Salomon, who plays Cyrano, also proposed to her. He asked, “Maaari ka bang imbitahin maging ligaya, pangarap, at pag-asa?
