Good news, commuters! MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2 will be offering free rides to the public in observance of Labor Day.

Commuters can enjoy free rides on the MRT and LRT lines throughout the day from April 30 to May 3. President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. announced the initiative to honor the contributions of workers to society.
“Ito ay bilang kaunting pagkilala sa sakripisyo at ang kontribusyon ng ating mga manggagawa hindi lamang sa ating ekonomiya kundi sa ating lipunan (This is to recognize the sacrifices and contributions of our workers not only for the economy but also for the society). Happy Labor Day!” he said.
Labor Day is observed annually on May 1st.
