The Junior Philippine Economics Society (JPES) is a duly recognized national confederation of Economics organizations from various universities and colleges in the Philippines. It is the junior arm of the Philippine Economic Society (PES).
As part of its goal to empower the future Ekonomistas, JPES has prepared its annual event, Moving Forward – Learn from the Leaders, a leadership training seminar for all Junior Council officers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The details of said event are as follows:

The invited guest speakers for this event are: Mr. Nathaniel Jay J. Abella, JPES former Executive Vice President and a Cumlaude graduate from the University of the Philippines in Diliman; Mr. Andrew James B. Beso, a Junior Lead Researcher in Bolton International; Ms. Trinidad Rodriguez, the Executive Director of National Tax Research Center; and Mr. Rio Dayao, coordinator-general of START NOW.
