With the premiere of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” this week, international streaming guide JustWatch has released its definitive ranking of all of the animated movies ever made based on their popularity.
It’s not surprising that Oscar-winning animated film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” takes the first place, which garnered an unexpected box office success with its premiere. Taking the second spot are a couple of hits from 2001: “Shrek” and the Studio Ghibli classic “Spirited Away.” Following them are Walt Disney and Pixar animated films “Inside Out,” “Coco,” and “WALL-E.” “How To Train Your Dragon” from DreamWorks takes the 7th spot while Pixar’s “Up,” Illumination’s “Despicable Me,” and Pixar’s “Ratatouille” take the 8th, 9th, and 10th spot respectively.
