After taking on the role of the Joker in Suicide Squad, Jared Leto is set to take on another comic book role: Morbius, a vampire anti-hero who first appeared in the Spider-Man comics.
The news of his casting was announced as early as July, but Leto recently shared a video of his preparation by shaving off his beard.

Morbius is a living vampire and is the alter ego of a former award-winning biochemist named Michael Morbius. He gained his vampiric abilities after a failed experiment meant to cure his rare blood disorder. Instead, he gained superhuman abilities. He has since become an antihero in his own series and other titles.
There’s no word on when the film will be released, but it is said to be part of Sony’s Marvel Universe. Daniel Espinosa is set to direct and Leto will reportedly be joined by Martine Bancroft as the female lead and Loxias Crown as the villain.
