Happening on August 3, 2019 (Saturday) at Bayview Park Hotel Manila, Â Mommy Matters is a convention that seeks to be a comprehensive resource of non-traditional parenting knowledge not only to mothers or mothers-to-be, but also to fathers and fathers-to-be. Proceeds from Mommy Matters, an event of the Phi Lambda Delta Society under the arm of its flagship project, Milk Matters, will be used in the renovation of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) Breastfeeding Room.
This convention aims to touch not only on the informational aspects of parenting, such as mommy wellness and child development, but also on the emotional aspects of parenting such as couple intimacy. Gear up for the talks of mom pediatricians Dr. Maria Estrelita Uy on their experience with breastfeeding and kangaroo mother care, and Dr. Ana Lisa Ong-Lim on child immunization, among many other mommy guest speakers. Also joining them are other esteemed such as Chef Michelle Adrillana, who will talk about proper nutrition for mothers, and Teacher Patricia Franco-Velasco, who will touch on the topic of providing an engaging environment for your children, and many more!
Participants may also shop for footwear for their little ones through a booth from Meet My Feet!
