Here are the Modified IATF Guidelines for GCQ and MGCQ Areas

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has made recent changes to government guidelines for both general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) areas.

For the areas under MGCQ; movie screenings, concerts, sporting events, religious gatherings, and work conferences are now allowed at a 50% seating or venue capacity. The movement of people living in MGCQ areas, however, shall be limited to accessing essential goods and services, working in offices or industries permitted to operate, and for other permitted activities.

The IATF guidelines also state that limited face-to-face or in-person classes may be conducted in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as long as minimum public health standards are followed. HEIs must also consult with local government units, and comply with CHED guidelines.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque also announced a new policy: sidecars are now allowed on national highways to help provide more transportation in both GCQ and MGCQ areas.
