For motorists, one of the biggest hassle is getting a ticket and it’s mostly because of how you have to pay for the fines. Today, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority or MMDA announced that they will be accepting cashless payments.
#mmda pic.twitter.com/K8xthg4dnA— Official MMDA (@MMDA) July 28, 2021
Motorists will no longer have to go to the MMDA office or wait in queues as the fines can now be settled through online transfers through Landbank, GCash, GrabPay and Paymaya.
Many motorists lauded the new system as it is a more efficient and faster way to settle their payables without having to drive far and to avoid crowds especially during the rising number of COVID-19 Delta cases.
