Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach Calls to ‘Get Tested’

The first of December marks the commemoration of World AIDS Day.

In lieu with this, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach calls to ‘get tested’.

She posted the following plea on her Instagram account:

TODAY is #WorldAidsDay. ❤️ I am calling on each of you to join me in creating worldwide awareness to the sudden increase in HIV infection around the globe. Post your photo and use #WorldAidsDay and @MissUniverse. I’ll be liking photos throughout the day so be sure to tag @MissUniverse! ????????????@UNAIDSGlobal @GMHC | Hands Up for #HIVPrevention

Later on, Pia posted a compilation where people did what she did to create awareness – people from all over the world heeded her call and wrote on their palms last December 1 for World AIDS Day.
