Another privilege has been given to the Philippines. Our country’s bet Christi Lynn McGarry won 1st-runner up in the recently concluded Miss Intercontinental 2015 held in Germany.

Meantime, Russia’s Valentina Rasulova ruled and was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2015.

Here are the winners of the said event:
- Miss Intercontinental: Russia’s Valentina Rasulova
- 1st runner-up: Philippines’ Christi Lynn McGarry
- 2nd runner-up: Venezuela’s Katherine Garcia
- 3rd runner-up: U.S.A’s Brianne Bailey
- 4th runner-up: Zimbabwe’s Tendai Bongani
Apparently, this has been Christi’s second time to join the said event, which made speculations about her eligibility and integrity. As stated in CNN’s article, the speculations were cleared and clarified in a statement released by Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.
Obviously, she joined the competition and took home the 1st runner-up title.
